Realities of New York City Commutes

I found this article of interest as it discusses commuting patterns in the 5 boroughs of NYC.  13% of Queens residents commute to jobs outside of NYC.  Most of those people likely work in Long Island.  It does not state what percentage of each borrough commutes to New Jersey.

I am aware of a number of people at NJIT who commute from Long Island to Newark.  Their commutes are longer and more costly than mine.
