Bad Commuting Day Both Ways

It was one of those days.  This morning I arrived at the Main Street Subway station at 7:00, but the #7 train just  sat there for 15 minutes before it moved out.  What can you do?

In he evening I arrived at the Times Square station at about 4:55.  There were people lined 5 deep waiting for the #7 train.  An announcement said that there was a stuck train at Grand Central.  I walked over to 8th Avenue and took the E train.  It was as slow as molasses from Lexington Avenue to Court Square.  I changed for the #7 at 74th Street and the rest of the journey was relatively normal.  I didn’t get home until 6:25 which was about 35 minutes late.  Oy vey!
